BNP Paribas Wealth Management appoints Ernest Leung as Singapore CEO
BNP Paribas Wealth Management said on Wednesday that Ernest Leung, the chief operating officer for BNP Paribas Wealth Management Asia Pacific, will assume an additional role as chief executive officer for its wealth management in Singapore with immediate effect.
"This dual role will enable him to further enhance the bank's business development plans and infrastructure support across Asia Pacific, while continuing to drive franchise growth in Singapore," BNP Paribas said.
Mr Leung reports to Mignonne Cheng, chairman and CEO of BNP Paribas Wealth Management Asia Pacific, and to Pierre Veyres, regional head for Southeast Asia and CEO of BNP Paribas Singapore Branch.
BNP Paribas Wealth Management also unveiled two other new appointments as it re-aligns its management resources to better deliver its growth plans in Asia.
Arnaud Tellier will be head of investment services for Asia Pacific, and will be based in Singapore. He will work closely with relationship managers in the region to strengthen the bank's product capabilities so as to meet clients' needs and demands for investment ideas.
Stephanie Lair is appointed head of Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia Markets and is based in Singapore. She succeeds Serge Forti who has recently retired.
