Credit Suisse rides on wealth momentum of the Asia-Pacific

It aims to grow investment banking, and through that, its private banking arm

Mr Helman Sitohang, CEO of Credit Suisse in the Asia-Pacific, says there remains a discipline on cost, with the returns on capital from the Asia-Pacific beating the firm's global average for the last two and a half years. The investment banking returns in Asia are also much higher than that for its global operations.
