Rothschild announces two key appointments in Singapore
ROTHSCHILD Wealth Management on Friday announced the appointment of Mike Hue and Tang Kai Meng to its Asia business.
They will join as senior client advisers in Singapore, with Mr Hue also becoming head of wealth management for Singapore.
Both will report to Audrey Zau, who will become head of wealth management for Asia, providing more integration and a greater focus on key clients and market segments across the region, said Rothschild.
Ms Zau, who joined Rothschild last year as head of wealth management for North Asia, is based in Hong Kong. She said: "These senior appointments underline Rothschild's increasing commitment to expanding our presence in Asia. Mike and Kai Meng's client and investment experience and impressive local knowledge and connections will be a real asset as we further amplify our growth strategy here."
Mr Hue was previously from ABN Amro Private Bank, where he was most recently senior business manager. He is also an adjunct lecturer in wealth management at Singapore Management University.
Mr Tang joins Rothschild with close to 20 years' experience in private banking and asset and wealth management at various firms, including OUB, Societe Generale Private Banking, Citigroup and Deutsche Bank.
Rothschild, which has 21 billion euros (S$32 billion) in assets under management, provides investment management services to families, entrepreneurs, charities and foundations. It has offices in Frankfurt, Geneva, Guernsey, Hong Kong, London, Manchester, Milan, Singapore and Zurich.
