StanChart steps up investments in Singapore to raise efficiency (Amended)

It will spend 30% more on technology this year, and hire 100 more people for tech roles

STANDARD Chartered Bank on Friday announced the purchase of a second office building in Changi Business Park for S$45 million, amid a ramping up of its investments in Singapore to raise efficiency.
