OKP unit wins PUB contract worth S$146.5m
INFRASTRUCURE and civil engineering company OKP Holdings on Thursday announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, together with Chye Joo Construction, has been awarded a S$146.5 million contract from PUB, the national water agency, to upgrade the Bukit Timah First Diversion Canal between Holland Green to Clementi Road.
The project will be undertaken by both companies through a newly incorporated 50:50 joint venture vehicle. The work scope involves widening and deepening the existing 1.3km canal.
The project will start on May 5, 2015 and span 36 months.
