THE Securities Investors' Association (Singapore) wants to help "stranded" holders of corporate debt whose bonds have been defaulted on or are undergoing restructuring, it said in a press release on Monday.

The investor lobby group said some bondholders have approached it for help and that it will "be able to collectively represent" the bondholders and advise them of their rights.

It added it was also "considering investor education" on corporate bonds.
