Singapore CEOs more upbeat than Asean, global counterparts

DESPITE the growing economic uncertainty, Singapore CEOs are more confident about their country's growth than their Asean and global counterparts, according to a KPMG study released on Monday.

The KPMG 2016 Global CEO Outlook study shows that 88 per cent of Singapore CEOs believe there will be economic growth in Singapore, especially in technology and innovation, over the next 12 months, compared with 57 per cent CEOs in Asean and 73 per cent, globally.
