Thai Beverage's nine-month net profit falls 7 per cent

This comes in the absence of gain from the disposal of interest in associate; revenue rises 15 per cent

Thai Beverage's beer business turned in a "very satisfactory performance", as sales revenue rose 62.3 per cent due to success in new Chang beer and effective marketing efforts.


DESPITE higher revenue, Thai Beverage Public Company's (Thai Bev) net profit fell 7 per cent for the first nine months of the year in the absence of a gain from the disposal of interest in an associate.

The group recorded a net profit of 18.9 billion baht (S$757 million)
