Jurong Port to build liquid-bulk terminal

It will partner German firm Oiltanking in this as it diversifies into oil and chemical storage

The proposed facility will support the increasing demand for storage in Singapore, particularly on Jurong Island opposite the port, said Jurong Port. Its chief executive Ooi Boon Hoe said the joint venture with Oiltanking will enable the port to develop the operating expertise of the port and optimise the use of its assets.
