One possible reason is your print subscriber information is not updated in our subscriber database. Please contact SPH Circulation Customer Support.( See details below) |
The reason is to deter fraudulent account creation as well as to uphold our customer service level (i.e. we would like to distinguish one Mr. Tan from another). All our subscribers' personal and subscription information are treated with strict confidence.
You need only enter your House/Blk Number, Unit Number and Postal Code as appropriate. It is not necessary to enter other address information such as street name, building name, etc.
Overseas print subscribers who have a subscription reference number from SPH can register online by entering the subscription reference number on the BTO registration form. If not, please contact SPH Circulation Customer Support.
For online purchase of subscriptions, your BTO subscriber account will be activated half an hour later.

B. Navigating BTO |
Each new edition of BTO is available online at 4am Singapore time (2000 GMT). During the day, the site is constantly updated with breaking news on the front page.
If you know the section in which that story appears, you can use the Newspaper Sections on the right-hand side of the BTO homepage. Once you click on the section heading, you will get the index or content page of that particular section. This will list all the headlines of the stories in that section. For sections such as BizIT, Weekend BT, Executive Money, Executive Lifestyle, etc which appear weekly, the stories will remain online until the following week when the section is updated. If you are unsure which section the article appears in, you can go to our Site Map for reference. Alternately, you can also search for articles using the BT 7-Day Archive pages. This function is found at the bottom of the left nav-bar on a BTO page. If you are looking for an article that is more than seven days old, you have to subscribe to the NewsLink archive service at http://www.asia1.com.sg/newslink.

Appointments & Notices ads are only found in the print edition of BT.

The problem lies in the cache copies of the web pages in your hard disk. You can
clear them by clicking on the "Refresh" or "Reload" button of the browser you are using.
If you still do not see the latest page, then follow the steps below:
a. If you are using Netscape, go to the Edit menu and click on "Preferences". Click
on the plus sign next to "Advanced". Then click on the sub-category "Cache". Click on "Clear Disk Cache"
b. For IE users, you can change the setting by clicking on "Internet Options" under
the Tools menu bar. Under the General category, look for "Temporary Internet files".
Click on "Delete Files".
c. When you have done the above, Refresh or Reload the outdated page on your browser.
