Business receipts for Singapore's services industry up 0.4% in Q2
BUSINESS receipts for the services industry in Singapore edged up 0.4 per cent year on year in the second quarter, a release from the Department of Statistics on Friday showed.
Performance was mixed as categories such as health and social services as well as education posted growth while others - such as transport & storage as well as recreation and personal services - chalked up declines.
Quarter on quarter, business receipts were up 1.1 per cent (non-seasonally adjusted), the release showed.
All the services industries except education and financial & insurance reported higher revenue.
