Companies can help strengthen regional integration: ESM Goh

COMPANIES should take the lead to foster closer regional integration in the Asia-Pacific - even more so when disputes over sovereignty issues threaten to sour economic progress, said Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong.
Mr Goh noted that multilateral efforts are underway to build stronger economic ties in the region. Yet, territorial disputes have threatened to upset cooperation, and this will have a real impact on regional economies.
