[SINGAPORE] Yishun Primary School, the nomination centre for Sembawang, Marsiling-Yew Tee and Nee Soon GRC, represented a sea of white with a smattering of other colours representing three opposition parties.

The Singapore Democratic Party is contesting against the People's Action Party (PAP) at the Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC, while the Workers Party is contesting the PAP at Nee Soon GRC. The National Solidarity Party (NSP) will be up against the PAP at Sembawang GRC.

For the Sembawang GRC, the PAP line up was according to expectations with Minister Khaw Boon Wan heading a team comprising Lim Wee Kiak, Vikram Nair, Amrin Amin and Ong Ye Kung. The opposition National Solidarity Party team headed by organising secretary Spencer Ng comprised Kevryn Lim, Eugene Yeo, Yadzeth Harris and Abdul Rasheed, who was an unexpected addition to the line up.
