Inflation in S Korea falls to its lowest since 1999

MIXED VIEWS: Policymakers expect higher spending as part of economic recovery but analysts see sluggish consumption pulling down inflation.


SOUTH Korea has reported its lowest inflation in more than 15 years, which could reinforce expectations of an interest rate cut early in 2015 - though the central bank governor seems to see no hurry for one.
