The former prime minister remains sedated and on mechanical ventilation in the intensive care unit at Singapore General Hospital (SGH), according to the PMO. He is continuing with his antibiotics, the statement added.

Mr Lee had been warded at SGH on Feb 5 with severe pneumonia. There, his condition had stabilised, according to a statement from the PMO on Feb 21.
