Unilever's ambition is to eliminate deforestation from the world's commodity supply chains, and so combat the threat from climate change. Together with others in the industry, Unilever has committed to achieving zero net deforestation associated with four commodities - palm oil, soy, paper and board, and beef - no later than 2020. This commitment also extends to its tea businesses (above) and supply chains.
