SME100 award winner Supermec Private Limited is a leading provider of a wide range of explosion-proof products that meet the stringent safety requirements of the oil and gas, petrochemical, marine and pharmaceutical industries. Its explosion-proof products include junction boxes, distribution panels, control stations, conduit housings, lighting fixtures, glands, plugs and sockets.
The company says that all its products are compliant with the European directives related to potentially explosive atmospheres such as European ATEX (new directive 2014/34/EU) as well as the IECEx (International Electrotechnical Commission System for Certification to Standards Relating to Equipment for Use in Explosive Atmospheres) standards.
Set up in 1977 and headquartered in Singapore, Supermec has established a good track record and strong presence in the Asia-Pacific region, the Middle East and Europe.

She says that as Supermec has grown into a reliable manufacturer of explosion-proof products, its businesses are also expanding to new territories such as the Russian and European markets.
"Our explosion-proof products have been given by EAC certification which will allow us to market our products in Russia and other European territories that require the EAC Certificate.
"Supermec is ready with EAC certification as targeted in our business expansion plan," she adds.
