(NEW DELHI) The fight between India's billionaire Ambani brothers over natural gas supplies started anew in the Supreme Court yesterday, after an earlier trial was halted, adding to delays over a field with US$38.3 billion of reserves. (NEW DELHI) India's telecoms ministry will seek a fast-track approval from the finance ministry to cut the annual licence fee paid by large operators by up to a third, the Economic Times newspaper reported, a move that could bring some respite to the firms fighting a price war. (BANGALORE) India's Wipro Ltd has acquired some businesses of Yardley for about US$45.5 million from British personal-care company Lornamead to boost its consumer-care unit's presence in the overseas markets.
