THE Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS) celebrated World Down Syndrome Day on Wednesday with the opening of its first clinic in Singapore dedicated to persons with intellectual disabilities.
The clinic, located at the MINDS Eunos Training & Development Centre at Kembangan-Chai Chee Community Hub, was officially opened by President Halimah Yacob, together with Dr Cheong Choong Kong, patron of MINDS, and Samuel Tsien, group CEO of OCBC Bank.
