Toll rises to 10 in killer US snowstorm

It has paralysed communities for days in the northeast

THE death toll from a rare pre-winter snowstorm rose to 10 in the northeastern United States on Thursday, paralysing communities for days and dumping more than six feet of snow near Buffalo.

The National Weather Service warned an extra two to three feet of "lake effect
