Raising the ante for players
THIS year sees the seventh staging of this popular annual event which brings together some of Singapore's top executives and business people for rounds of golf in a lively social and competitive environment.
A total of 22 teams are taking part in the tournament.
This year's sponsors include Presenting Sponsor Audi Singapore, Laguna Phuket and Banyan Tree, Philip Stein, World Amateur Golfers Championship, Le Vigne, Yilai, SunMoon Food, Owell, Fitness First Singapore, FootJoy, Spectacle Hut, Golf & Leisure, Titleist, Fullerton Health, Ambient Lounge, W Hotel, Park Hotel Group and Yeo Teck Seng.
New to the BT Corporate Golf League this year is a prize for the best individual score. In addition to bragging rights and a trophy, the best individual stableford winner of each round will be named "FootJoy Player of the Round".
The prize is sponsored by FootJoy, whose marketing slogan and brand strategy is "The Mark of a Player", and the winner will be kitted out in FootJoy golf gear including shoes, socks, glove, shirt, belt and a Titleist cap.
The fifth round of the Business Times Corporate Golf League will take place on Aug 26 at the Singapore Island Country Club's New Course.
