HDB resale prices rose 0.4 per cent in November compared with October, buoyed by four and five-room flats, according to estimates by SRX Property.
The resale prices of HDB four and five-room flats increased by 0.5 per cent and 1.4 per cent respectively last month, while the resale prices for HDB three-room and executive flats decreased by 0.7 per cent and 0.2 per cent respectively.
Compared with a year ago, HDB resale prices had fallen 1.9 per cent; they were down 11.3 per cent from the peak in April 2013.
Resale volume, however, fell significantly in November. According to HDB resale data compiled by SRX Property, 1,467 HDB resale flats were sold in November, a 15.9 per cent contraction from 1,745 transacted units in October.
But resale volume was still 8.7 per cent higher than a year ago, compared with 1,350 units in November 2014. It was still 59.8 per cent lower than its peak of 3,649 units in May 2010.
