Suburbs lead y-o-y slide in condo rents: SRX
Trend to continue with ramp-up in completion of new units in Outside Central Region

RENTALS of private apartments and condos in the suburbs fell at a faster clip over the past year than in the city-fringe and Core Central Region (CCR).
According to SRX Property's flash estimates for September 2016, its rental index for non-landed private homes in Outside Central Region (OCR) contracted 6 per cent year on year (y-o-y) over September 2015.
Over the same period, rents fell 4.6 per cent in the city-fringe, or Rest of Central Region (RCR), and 2.8 per cent in CCR.
