Malaysia: Shares open higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 13.16 points to 1,788.82 at 9am.
Volume was 36.88 million lots worth RM25.79 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 91 to 69.
