Facebook, Twitter lock horns in US Super Bowl battle of statistics

Facebook boasted that 65 million people chimed in on its service about the match that saw the New England Patriots edge out the Seattle Seahawks 28-24. Twitter reported that users on its service during the game tapped out 28.4 million game-related tweets.
