LOCAL tech companies accredited through Accreditation@IDA (A@IDA) can now enjoy increased access to larger infrastructure and urban development projects beyond those offered by government agencies.
On Monday, the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) said that it has inked two memorandum of intents (MOIs) with Surbana Jurong and Lendlease. The partnerships will empower IDA-accredited companies to win projects through Surbana Jurong's and Lendlease's "worldwide footprint".
Surbana Jurong provides consultancy for urbanisation and infrastructure development with projects in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Through this partnership, IDA-accredited companies will be able to participate in masterplanning projects and build on successful deployments.
Two IDA-accredited companies - Evercomm (an energy analytics company) and Sense Infosys (a data analytics company) - are currently in discussions with Surbana Jurong to explore integration into "Smart City in a Box", a platform that brings together various smart city solutions.
Lendlease provides services throughout the property spectrum such as development works, investment management, project management for construction and asset management. This partnership will allow for IDA-accredited companies' tech solutions to be used in existing and future projects for Lendlease in Singapore, as well as overseas markets.
IDA said that Lendlease is in discussions with relevant IDA-accredited companies for solutions ranging from video analytics to energy management.
Meanwhile, A@IDA will collaborate with both Surbana Jurong and Lendlease to create recurring platforms to feature all IDA-accredited companies' tech solutions to various user departments in both companies.
