Garuda aims to bypass Singapore on flights to Europe: CEO

Mr Wibowo said more capacity is needed, adding "the new terminal in Jakarta has a capacity of only 20m passengers a year. But Garuda already handles 19.4m . . . and only domestic passengers."


SINGAPORE will no longer serve as a stopover for Garuda's flights from Jakarta to Europe by the end of this year - if the Indonesian capital's airport manages to improve its runway by then, that is.
