Stronger second half helps Changi net 55.4m passengers in 2015

Figure is slight improvement from 2014; last year saw a record 346,330 landings and take-offs

Changi Airport's top source markets such as Thailand, Vietnam and China saw the strongest growth last year, while Indonesia and Hong Kong posted lower growth. A key factor was a strong Singapore dollar.

AFTER an uneventful first six months of 2015, Singapore's Changi Airport saw a rebound in the second half, which helped it hit 55.4 million travellers for the whole of last year.

This figure was up 2.5 per cent from 2014, when the airport saw 54.1 million passengers.
