[BANGKOK] Thai Airways International Pcl said on Wednesday it will cut salaries of its top management by 10 per cent in November as part of a cost-cutting scheme, after posting heavy losses in the third quarter.

The flag carrier aimed to reduce operating costs by 20 billion baht (S$793 million) during a two-year restructuring, but it has cut costs by about 7 billion baht, below the target, President Charumporn Jotikasthira told a news conference.
