THE Kazakhstan capital of Astana will once again host the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions next year, from June 10-11.
Held for the fifth time, the congress' main theme will be "Dialogue of Religious Leaders and Politicians in the Name of Peace and Development". This was decided at the end of the thirteenth session of the Secretariat of the Congress, held earlier this year under the chairmanship of the Head of the Secretariat, Chairman of the Senate, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions initiated by Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev marked its 10th anniversary last year.
