THREE stocks stood out in yesterday's trading session - Tiger Airways and GuocoLeisure because of privatisation speculation that sent their shares rising, and Yangzijiang Shipbuilding whose shares crashed 11 per cent, presumably because of a report that its chairman has been accused of illegal activities in China.

Loss-making Tiger's shares shot up to an intraday high of 54.5 cents before settling at 53 cents for a net gain of eight cents or 18 per cent on the day, with 32.2 million shares traded.
