Board gender diversity makes some headway in 2017

THE boardrooms of Singapore's listed companies showed some year-on-year improvement in gender diversity last year, when women took up 10.8 per cent of the seats.
This was a rise from 9.9 per cent in 2016, and 9.5 per cent in 2015.
The proportion of all-male boards also went down slightly, from 55 per cent three years ago to 50 per cent last year, said the Diversity Action Committee (DAC).
