Hot stock: CapitaLand Investment sinks 7.6% on H1 profit slips

SHARES of mainboard-listed CapitaLand Investment : 9CI 0% (CLI) fell as much as 7.6 per cent to S$3.79, before rising slightly to S$3.82 as at 9.46 am on Thursday (Aug 11).

The counter was amongst the most heavily traded counters by volume, with approximately 11.4 million shares changing hands in early trade.

This comes after the company posted a decline in profits by 38.3 per cent to S$433 million for the half year ended Jun 30, due to “lower velocity in asset recycling activities”. …
