[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened higher on Monday, tracking gains on Wall Street, with investors focusing on a Federal Reserve meeting this week.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index was up 0.7 perc ent, or 207.59 points, at 29,156.32 in early trade, while the broader Topix index gained 0.6 per cent, or 12.19 points, to 1,966.21.
