Amara Holdings

AMARA Holdings sank into the red with a loss of S$11.45 million for the year ended Dec 31, 2020, versus a profit of S$28.18 million in the previous year.

Revenue slid 42 per cent year on year to S$61.05 million, due to lower revenue from its hotel investment and management segment arising from the pandemic and the accompanying travel restrictions.

Loss per share worked out to 1.99 Singapore cents, compared to earnings per share of 4.9 cents a year ago.

Amara did not recommend a dividend for the period under review. In the previous year, it paid out a final dividend of one cent per share as well as a special dividend of one cent per share.

ISOTeam has landed several projects which are worth about S$24.33 million in total, the company said in a filing to the Singapore Exchange on Tuesday.

These include two addition and alteration projects with a total contract value of about S$22 million, which are slated for completion by December 2022. One of the two projects involves a neighbourhood renewal programme and repairs and redecoration works for 34 blocks at Tampines Street 71 and Street 72.

It has also secured two landscaping projects with a total value of about S$1.35 million, one interior design project and two coating and painting projects.
