CapitaLand Investment Limited

CAPITALAND Investment Limited's (CLI) wholly owned subsidiary CLI Treasury has established a S$6 billion Euro Medium Term Note Programme from which it may issue euro medium term notes and perpetual notes, it said in a filing to the Singapore Exchange.

The net proceeds arising from any future issue of notes will be used for refinancing of existing borrowings, financing the investments and general corporate purposes of CLI and the issuer, unless otherwise specified, CLI added.

CLI closed at S$3.45 on Tuesday (Nov 9), up 3 cents or 0.88 per cent.

Econ Healthcare

PRIVATE nursing home operator Econ Healthcare Group's net profit shrank nearly 56 per cent year-on-year to S$1.61 million for the six months ended Sept 30, 2021.

Revenue was 1.6 per cent higher at S$10.4 million while operating subvention grants from the government rose 11.1 per cent to S$9.34 million. The increase in revenue and operating subvention grants stemmed from two new nursing homes in China as well as higher contributions from its Singapore operations.

Earnings per share were 0.63 Singapore cent, down from 1.76 cents previously.

Its board is recommending an interim dividend of 0.22 Singapore cent per share, payable on Dec 10. No dividend was declared for the corresponding period last year.

Shares in Econ Healthcare closed at 31 Singapore cents, unchanged, on Tuesday (Nov 9).
