EMS unit secures creditor support for scheme

A UNIT of EMS Energy has secured sufficient support for a proposed scheme of arrangement at a Sept 29 creditors' meeting, EMS announced on Monday after the market closed.
The scheme was approved without modification, said EMS, an offshore and marine services provider.
The subsidiary, EMS Energy Solutions, will now seek sanction of the scheme by the Singapore High Court.
