A-Reit Q3 DPU down 2.2% at 3.54 cents

DESPITE total amount available for distribution rising 4.9 per cent from $81.1 million to $85.1 million for the third quarter ended December, Ascendas real estate investment trust (A-Reit) posted a distribution per unit of 3.54 cents in Q3, a dip of 2.2 per cent from 3.62 cents a year ago.

This was largely due to a 7.3 per cent increase in the number of units in issue at the end of the period. As at end-2013, 2,402,521,658 units were in issue, compared with 2,238,946,090 units at end-2012.
