MAINBOARD-LISTED water and solid-waste treatment company SIIC Environment Holdings said on Friday that the impact of Covid-19 is not expected to have any material impact on the company's FY2020 financial results.
It said that its construction projects that were behind schedule due to the pandemic are now running smoothly given that all provinces and cities in China have gradually opened up.
The company has also stepped up on virus safety measures by equipping employees with protective equipment such as masks, sanitisers, protective clothing and goggles.
It has also ensured that it has effectively reduced the risk of cross-contamination through "reasonable deployment of operating personnel, closed production and operation management, and the transfer of employees to and from work by dedicated vehicles".
Other measures including strict body temperature measurements for personnel entering the factory area, reducing non-essential on-site work shifts, cleaning and disinfecting production areas and public areas at regular intervals daily have also been adopted.
Shares of SIIC Environment closed at S$0.20 on Friday, down half a Singapore cent or 2.4 per cent.
