SINGAPORE'S stock market value edged down in September, with low trading volumes expected into October as markets wait to see how major geopolitical events play out.
Total market capitalisation was down 0.3 per cent from the previous month at S$859.9 billion, marking the third straight month in which the bourse shed value.
