S'pore shares slip further on oil, gas woes

Large caps dominate trading activity; Noble closes 3.3% down to 11.9 Singapore cents

SINGAPORE shares fell for the fourth straight session on a relatively quiet Wednesday as ongoing pressure in the oil and gas sector continued to weigh on sentiment.

The Straits Times Index (STI) declined by 0.3 per cent or 7.8 points to close at 2,820.59.
