THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Tuesday (Nov 22):
NoonTalk Media: The home-grown media entertainment company will commence trading at 9 am on Tuesday. This comes after announcing on Monday that its initial public offering (IPO) of 22 million shares at S$0.22 apiece was around 1.2 times subscribed. The IPO is expected to raise total gross proceeds of S$4.8 million, while its market capitalisation is expected to be around S$43.6 million post-offering.
Halcyon Agri: The natural rubber supplier posted an operating loss of US$2.2 million for Q3 FY2022, compared with an operating profit of US$0.7 million a year earlier. The company said on Monday that a recent decline in rubber prices led to “some level of margin compression”. Halcyon Agri is also the target of a mandatory general offer from a Chinese rubber company. Its shares closed flat at S$0.38, before the release of the results.
