Sunseap valued at S$200m after latest funding round
SUSTAINABLE energy provider Sunseap Group is now valued in excess of S$200 million following the first close of its third round of funding, the company announced on Tuesday.
The Series C investment round raised S$6.7 million in funding, led by Catalist-listed ISOTeam Limited with S$5 million worth of Series C preference shares.
Sunseap plans to supply 200 megawatts of clean energy to its customers in Singapore, which include government agencies and other companies, and has a number of overseas projects in Cambodia, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Australia.
Currently one of the largest sustainable energy providers in South-east Asia, the company aims to raise a total of S$75 million to aid its expansion plans in Singapore and the region.
