Vicom's net profit for FY17 down 5.9%
VICOM'S posted a net profit of S$26.5 million for the year ended Dec 31, 2017, down 5.9 per cent from a year ago.
Revenue went down 4.1 per cent to S$97 million due to lower business volumes.
Earnings per share stood at 29.9 cents for FY17, down from 31.77 cents previously.
A dividend of 22.88 cents was declared for the year, compared to a final dividend of 8.5 cents and a special dividend of 10 cents in 2016.
If approved by shareholders, the proposed final dividend for 2017 will be paid on May 10, 2018.
Vicom is the vehicle inspection and testing unit of ComfortDelGro.
