HOPPER, the app that helps you determine the perfect time to book your airfare, is turning its attention to an area that's ripe for ever deeper savings: hotels.
On Wednesday, it launched a new feature to track hotel prices and forecast whether rates are expected to rise or fall, first in New York City, with plans to start expanding nationwide in early 2018. Based on regression data, the app has shown the potential to save users an average of US$270 per week-long trip, or as much as US$720 over eight nights.
