Mutual funds turn net sellers
GLOBAL mutual funds were net sellers of Singapore-listed utilities and transportation stocks. In the three months to Oct 17, a total of S$27.8 million in net sells were transacted among six stocks, compared to S$16.9 million of net buys.
Among the sells were S$16 million worth of Sembcorp Marine and S$4.3 million of SATS Ltd. The buys were led by Hutchison Port Holdings with S$4.6 million of trades, followed by Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Holdings with S$3.6 million.
