Business and adminstration the top course of study
Singapore
DESPITE efforts to draw more entrants into the engineering and IT sectors, where talent in Singapore is in high demand, business and administration remains the most popular field of study in Singapore, pulling in a greater share of university graduates than a decade ago, the Census of Population 2020 has found.
The census presented data separately for male and female university graduates. Business and adminstration was the top choice for both, accounting for 31.2 per cent of male graduates and 39 per cent of female ones, up from 27.2 per cent and 37.5 per cent respectively in 2010.
