Corruption is now fastest-rising type of fraud: report

CORRUPTION and bribery is the fastest-rising type of fraud faced by firms, according to the latest Kroll Global Fraud & Risk Report.
Of 540 executives surveyed, 21 per cent said their organisation had experienced corruption and bribery in the last year, making it the fifth most common type of fraud.
This was up from 15 per cent in 2016 and 11 per cent in 2015.
