ECB's Coeure says QE is working, there is no doubt it will work

[PARIS] There is no doubt that the European Central Bank's bond-buying plan will work, executive board member Benoit Coeure said on Thursday, adding that it was already working and had started having effects even before it was launched on Monday.

Mr Coeure said that one had to trust markets and that the ECB was buying bonds in a way that respected the functioning of markets.

"We don't want to kill the market," he said.
