The target for 2019 is around 3.5 per cent, Governor Agus Martowardojo said.
Bank Indonesia's target for this year and next year is also in that range, which translates to 3-5 per cent.
Annual inflation was 4.89 per cent in November, in line with analysts' expectations in a Reuters poll, and a significant easing from 6.25 per cent in October.
